Tutorial Update Freestyle Ke Versi Terbaru



Tutorial kali ini akan membahas cara mengupdate atau mengupgrade Freestyle lama ke versi terkini (saat ini Freestyle 3 Rev 483). Ada dua metoda yang dapat ditempuh yaitu secara offline dan secara online.



A. SECARA OFFLINE MANUAL

Bahan yang diperlukan

1. Freestyle versi terbaru

2. USB Flash drive



Tahapannya

1. Buatlah folder di USB sebagai tempat extract Freestyle baru.  Beri nama unik pada folder tersebut, dalam tutorial ini folder Freestyle yang akan di copy bernama  F3 . Extract Freestyle versi baru ke folder F3 ini.

2. Jalankan mesin Xbox 360. Asumsi tutorial ini, mesin auto-load ke Freestyle yang berada di HDD1. Apabila mesin tidak otomatis masuk ke Freestyle, maka buatlah USB Recovery menggunakan tutorial ini dan jalankan Freestyle di USB, lalu loncat ke point #4. (Bagi yang Freestylenya berada di HDD External, cukup timpa folder Freestyle lama dengan Freestyle baru dengan PC. Cara ini jauh lebih mudah)

3. Tancapkan USB flash drive ke Xbox

4. Masuklah ke file manager5. Perhatikan di kolom kanan, ada folder F3 dan folder Freestyle. Folder Freestyle berisi Freestyle yang akan dijalankan di USB sedangkan folder F3 berisi Freestyle yang akan dicopykan ke HDD1.  Prinsip install Freestyle adalah : Freestyle tidak dapat membunuh dirinya sendiri apabila sedang aktif berjalan. Sehingga cara mengakalinya adalah menjalankan Freestyle yang berada di  USB

6. Masuklah ke folder Freestyle yang ada di USB0:\Freesyle dan jalankan default.xex nya

7. Sekarang, Freestyle yang berjalan, ada di USB. Dengan jalannya Freestyle di USB, maka isi folder Freestlye yang ada di HDD1 dapat di hapus lewat File manager

8. Masuklah ke File manager dan masuklah ke HDD1, folder Freestyle

9. Pilih semua file dan folder di dalam folder tersebut dengan menekan tombol X (select) sehingga semua folder ditandai dengan warna hijau. Lalu tahan tombol LB, sambil tekan tombol B untuk delete.

10. Mungkin ada folder yang tidak bisa dihapus, seperti folder Plugin. Abaikan saja, yang pasti, isinya sudah tidak ada file.

11. Sekarang, masuk ke dalam folder F3 di USB, dan pilih semua file dan foldernya menggunakan tombol X. Lalu tekan dan tahan LB, lalu tekan A untuk copy

12. Setelah tercopy, jalankan default.xex yang ada di HDD1\Freestyle. Freestyle sudah terupdate ke versi terbaru

 B. SECARA ONLINE OTOMATIS

Bahan yang diperlukan

1. Koneksi internet secara langsung ke mesin Xbox 360



Tahapannya

1. Tancapkan mesin Xbox 360 ke jaringan internet

2. Jalankan Xbox 360, pastikan Freestyle sudah jalan dan aktif (boleh di HDD atau di USB)

3. Masuk ke Settings

2. Masuk ke General Settings

3. Aktifkan checklist : Enable beta updates, dan Receive Update Notices on Startup

4. Restart Freestyle dengan menekan tombol Xbox Home dan pilih Freestyle Home

 * Click pada gambar untuk memperbesar

5. Masuk kembali ke Settings, General Settings, Updates dan versi Freestyle baru akan tampil di layar. Pilih semua checklist dan tekan Y untuk update.

6. Tak lama setelahnya ada popup dan pilih Restart Freestyle (F3)

7. Layar akan keluar banyak tulisan, tekan Y untuk install Freestyle baru. Tunggu beberapa saat, dan setelah ada tulisan Press any key, tekan sembarang tombol. Freestyle terupdate ke versi terkini.
